Before you write

What makes a quotation fast.

You do not need all of this to get a reply. You do need it before we can put a firm price in writing, so sending it early saves a round trip.

The product

Grade, specification or a reference product you already buy. A photograph of a competitor pack works just as well as a spec sheet.

The volume

Per shipment and, if it is a repeat line, per month. Pallet, part container or full container changes the price materially.

The destination

Port or delivery address, and the Incoterm you prefer to trade on. If you are not sure, say so and we will propose one.

The timing

When you need goods on the ground, and whether this is a one-off or the start of a standing order.
